Spotlight".
If you don't have a web page or a hosting
service, this is your opportunity. The Llama Directory rates high in
the search engines for the llama industry. Sell to your target
market on the Internet. Don't wait...buyers are out there and they
can't find you.How to get started
Your website layout will look similar to
this web page, with
your logo and choice of colors. Send up to 10 pictures of items you have for sale with detailed descriptions.
You will send your pictures (at least a 4"x6") either by US mail or email. Pictures
that you will scan and email to me as an "attachment" should be
saved in a .jpg or JPEG format. You can send your web page content in Word (as an email
attachment) or write your information using your email program.
Pictures will not be returned unless a self-addressed, stamped
envelope is enclosed.
Hosting & Maintenance
You will have your own web address, because I
will host and maintain your page on the Llama Directory domain.
When you sell an item, change item description or the price, just
email me with the updates. All sales information must be kept up-to-date on your website.
For example, when your llama sells, be sure to notify me to delete
the animal from your web page, or mark it SOLD. This keeps our
daily buyers happy.

Who benefits from
a Spotlight webpage?
Anyone with something to sell will benefit. However, I
think the biggest benefit is to those that don't have a web page
now or it has been under construction for a very long time.
What makes up a
"Spotlight" webpage?
Each "Spotlight" web page is tailored to the individual, for example;
colors you pick, your logo, what picture you decide that represents your
business. When your webpage is completed, you will have a web
address, (i.e. www.llamadirectory.com/spotlight/yourname.htm)
to advertise and a new way for people to see what you have for sale.
Why would I need a
spotlight page?
More people will find you on the
Internet and your sales potential is much greater. You have the
opportunity to highlight specific sales, too! A picture is still
worth 1000 words!!
How long does this take?
It depends how long it takes you to email or postal mail your pictures,
descriptions, and content information. After all, this is all about
you, so I need your words about your business. Once I collect your
information, it should only be a few days.
How do I make changes
to my webpage?
Just notify me by email, phone, or postal mail with the
changes. You can always change out your "for sale" item pictures and
descriptions, too for just $10 per animal/item.
How
long will this web page
last?
As long as you are a Llama
Directory member, and your membership dues are current, you will have a
web page. You only pay for a set-up fee one time for each web page
you have. Some Llama Directory members may want a web page for
merchandise AND another web page for llamas. This is completely up
to you.
