Attend llama events and talk with breeders who have been in the business.  If there is an organization or breeder who is hosting an event, check out the calendar of events for activities near you.

Organizations are great to join so that you can meet breeders who will answer your llama related questions. There are also 4-H Clubs that have been gaining popularity with children wanting to care for and show their llamas.  Llama 4-H clubs receive a free listing in the Llama Directory.

Barn tips are a great way to find out how to lay out your llama pastures and many other ideas that are shared by llama breeders.

Books are a great way to learn about llamas and many of our suppliers have books for sale.

Videos and CDs:  Find merchants that sell videos and CD's for training llamas, birthing llamas, spinning wool, and much much more.
